WORLD TOUR 2014

The biggest and most spectacular Pink Floyd tribute of all time!

5.05.2014 – Bydgoszcz, Hala Łuczniczka

6.05.2014 – Katowice, Spodek

Start: godz. 20.00 Gates open: godz. 18.30

Following on from their enormously successful 2013 dates, this tour will see the band bringing their meticulously crafted show to an ever-growing audience. Founder member Jason Sawford said, “By allowing the audience to have a say in what they hear, we know that we may well not be playing the same set each night. It will be interesting to see which of the songs gets the most votes and if there are differences in preference between differing cities. One thing that is guaranteed is that the music will be amazing.” Bassist Colin Wilson added, “There is so much incredible Pink Floyd music that we always struggle to choose a set list, this way we can pass some of that dilemma onto the fans!”

The Australian Pink Floyd Show are much more than a tribute to the great music of Pink Floyd, and were described by The Times as “the gold standard”. The band attempt to capture and convey the spirit as well as the sound, and slavish attention is lavished upon their jaw-dropping visuals and effects. Aussie Floyd, who have sold over three million concert tickets in their own right, are much loved for their near note perfect performances which remain true to the original. Their loving recreation of the magic of Pink Floyd’s oeuvre is unmissable. Sunday Times ‘Culture’ said, “The Aussie Floyd delighted the crowd with a meticulously crafted performance, expensively staged with bright lights, lasers, and, yes, inflatables.” The Birmingham Mail added, “I’d heard that the Aussie Floyd were one of the best tribute acts in the business, but I really wasn’t prepared for how good they actually were”.

The band have a reputation for stretching the boundaries of what can be done with the magical music of Pink Floyd, and this new tour concept shows them at their creative best. The band’s fans love what the band do and this tour format will allow them now to get directly involved and, indeed, ‘Set the Controls’.
