CETI and Animations added to Metalmania 2017 line-up!
After a 9-year hiatus, the biggest indoor metal festival in Eastern Europe - Metalmania, comes back to life!
The 23rd edition of this iconic festival will be held on April, 22nd 2017 in Spodek Hall, Katowice (Poland). Tickets are on sale now!
Moonspell, Sodom, Arcturus, Tygers of Pan Tang, Furia, Coroner, Obscure Sphinx, Impaled Nazarene, Entombed A.D. and ThermiT have been announced so far. Today, we can reveal names of two Polish bands added to the line-up of Metalmania 2017: CETI and Animations. More bands to be revealed soon!
Ceti is a Polish hard rock/heavy metal band founded in 1989. Fronted by the living legend of the Polish heavy metal and one of the most charismatic frontmen of the genre, Grzegorz Kupczyk (ex-Turbo, ex-Non Iron), the band returned this Autumn with their tenth studio album entitled “Snakes Of Eden”. New album is a must-have for all fans of a good quality heavy metal.

Animations is a metal band from Jaworzno, Poland. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2007. The band’s sophomore album from 2009, "Reset Your Soul", was mastered by one of the best Dannish producers, Tommy Hansen from Jailhouse Studio. "Private Ghetto" from 2013 is their last studio album to date and was recorded with a new vocalist, Frantz Wołoch. The band is currently working on a new material.

Metalmania - it will be one of the most important musical events of 2017, a real treat for metal maniacs worldwide! Metalmania remains true to its formula - one day, two stages, several bands from all around the world and thousands of fans! That’s what Metalmania Festival is all about!
The last edition of Metalmania Festival took place at Spodek Hall in Katowice on March, 8th 2008, with Megadeth, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Overkill and Satyricon on the bill!
